Stephanie Molnar
Chief Executive Officer
Drawing from her 25 years of experience in direct marketing, Stephanie Molnar is a highly accomplished visionary leader. Her level of success is a result, in part, of her tenure at direct mail giant Advo, where she served as EVP and President, Sales and Service. Stephanie's leadership at WorkPlace Media as Chief Executive Officer is focused on guiding the continuous growth of the company by maintaining a deep understanding of the challenges that marketers face and by providing solid solutions that help them drive sales. Stephanie has traveled throughout the USA and abroad, spending most of her years in the Washington, D.C. and Baltimore, MD areas. She holds a B.S. from the University of Tennessee and has studied at Northwestern University. She and her family reside in Connecticut.
Steve Mills
Chief Financial Officer
With over 15 years experience in positions that range from Finance to Business Development to Data Analytics, Steve Mills uses his expertise to drive remarkable results for clients. He gained his experience from serving in leadership capacities at Valassis and Benefitport, LLC, a private insurance services start-up company. At WorkPlace Media, Steve serves as Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for the oversight of the Finance and Accounting functions, pricing, financial and data analytics, and aiding in the development of overall strategic direction for the company. Steve holds a B.S. in Political Science from Yale University and lives in Connecticut with his wife and three daughters.
Terry Goins
Executive Vice President - Sales
Over 25 years of helping retailers grow their businesses has provided Terry Goins with sought-after experience and insight into what it takes to drive traffic and sales. His ability to influence outstanding sales was garnered through his leadership at Advo, where he was responsible for the Retail vertical, with primary focus on the Drug and Grocery Store categories. His talent is exemplified by his reputation for using a holistic approach to marketing by considering all available intelligence, such as trends, consumer insight, data analytics, and targeting. Terry's expertise is utilized at WorkPlace Media in the role of Executive Vice President, where he is responsible for developing Retail marketing initiatives for major national marketers. A native of Virginia, Terry has studied at James Madison University and Virginia Commonwealth University, and he has shared his expertise with marketing executives through speaking engagements at industry conferences. He resides in Richmond, VA with his family.
Ken Karnes
Executive Vice President - Sales
With over two decades of sales and marketing experience in the Retail, Restaurant, E-Commerce and Consumer Packaged Goods industries, Ken Karnes possesses a deep knowledge of business growth practices that he has used to assist marketers in finding new and innovative ways to drive business and produce remarkable ROI. His knowledge has been garnered through his tenure in leadership positions at companies such as Coca-Cola, Advo, and Cellfire. A native of southern California, Ken holds a B.S. from The University of Redlands and an MBA from The University of Dallas. He and his family reside in Connecticut.
Charles Shapiro
Executive Vice President - Sales
For over 25 years, companies in a variety of industries have sought Charles Shapiro’s advice in developing compelling solutions to drive their business. In helping them to do so, he's drawn from his extensive financial background as a Corporate Finance/M&A attorney and a CPA to understand key business drivers from the client's point of view and then to derive strategic solutions that address those needs. Most recently, Charles was Vice President of Strategic Sales for Valassis/ADVO where he worked with senior leaders in the Mass, Grocery and Drug verticals to develop and implement strategies that both accelerated sales and created cost efficiencies. At WorkPlace Media, he will focus on driving sales for major retailers, grocers, restaurant chains and consumer packaged good companies. Charles is a graduate of the University of Maryland and the Duke University School of Law. He resides in Connecticut with his wife and four children.
Shelly Furness
Senior Vice President
With exceptional experience in operational execution, Shelly Furness possesses a results oriented ability to make anything happen. Her talent is a result of over 15 years of directing implementation of client programs in the marketing industry, with a special focus on the Restaurant, Retail, and CPG verticals. As Senior Vice President of Operations, Shelly is responsible for the oversight and execution of all WorkPlace Media client marketing initiatives. She accomplishes this through a rigorous and envied process that produces flawless results while maintaining an overarching goal that is focused on successful sales and remarkable ROI for each and every client program. A native of Ohio, Shelly resides in Concord Township, OH with her family.
Glenn Kawasaki
Vice President, Targeting
Glenn Kawasaki has over 10 years of experience in direct marketing and has held leadership positions in a variety of business functions including Data Analytics, Targeting, Marketing, Database Services and New Business Development. His experience has been in helping Mass Retail, Grocery, Specialty Retail and Direct Response marketers discover unique ways to drive sales through enhanced targeting and analytics. At WorkPlace Media, Glenn oversees the company’s sophisticated targeting capabilities which are designed to drive exceptional client results. He holds a B.S. in Marketing from California State University, Fullerton, and lives in Connecticut with his wife.
