A casual dining chain saves an underperforming market and drives over 25% in redemption.
Challenge:
A well known casual dining restaurant chain was faced with closing stores in a historically underperforming market. Before doing so, they wanted one last push to try and drive traffic and sales.
Solution:
WorkPlace Media developed a solution that used strategic geographical targeting to saturate at-work consumers within a specified radius of each restaurant. In addition to targeting, the solution called for a unique offer that provided mystery discounts ranging in value from $5 to $500. The upscale creative offered an attractive swipe card that was affixed to a holder explaining how the mystery program worked.
Results:
The program was a huge success! It drove over 25% in redemption, and the client had to extend the expiration date by one month to accommodate the consumers' excitement about the program. Most importantly, the participating stores did not have to close!
